Hope all is well! I’ve got another Hawaiian twist on a classic treat - Kona Coffee Chocolate Chip Cookies.

See the recipe below.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 sticks of unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 3/4 brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp. Kona coffee grounds (or your favorite coffee grounds)

INSTRUCTIONS:

Mix the wet. Mix the dry and add to the wet. Add the vanilla, chocolate, coffee and spoon onto your baking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes at 375°.

Thanks for the recipe. We look forward to trying this out.

I don’t like chocolate chip cookies myself but I do like coffee candy and coffee ice cream. Maybe I can do this with raisin oatmeal instead?
